Why We Collect It?

We request access to your media files (photos) only if you choose to upload a tea stall picture within the app. This permission is entirely optional, if you do not wish to upload an image, you can simply deny access, and the app will continue to function to view the nearby tea stalls. You can also grant or revoke this permission at any time from your device settings. Denying access will not affect any other features of the app, and you can always choose to enable it later if you decide to upload a profile picture.

How We Use It?

Uploaded media is stored securely on our servers and is only accessible by the user and authorized recipients.

We do NOT access or collect media files without explicit user consent.

8. Location Data

Why We Collect It?

Chaiwala App requires access to your location to provide essential services such as finding nearby tea stalls, navigating to selected stalls, and allowing users to add new stalls with accurate location data. Without location access, the app cannot function as intended.

Granting location permission ensures that you get the best user experience by displaying relevant tea stalls near you. This permission is mandatory, and denying access will restrict you from using the core features of the app.

How We Use It?

The app collects your location only when permission is granted and only while using the app.

Your real-time location is used to:

• Show nearby tea stalls on the map.
• Provide accurate navigation to a selected stall.
• Pin the correct location when adding a new tea stall.

We do not track or store your location in the background when the app is not in use.
